Mom's Pantry pickup is Monday, March 19th from 3:30 to 6:30 at the school.

Conference Reminder

A quick reminder that Report Cards go home on Friday, and conferences are coming up next week. There is no school for students on March 23rd as teachers will be in conferences. On that day, there will be no childcare provided in the library. The Book Fair is on from 9:00 - 3:30 on Wednesday the 21st and Thursday the 22nd, as well as from 9 to 5 on Friday the 23rd. Come to the library to check out the great deals!

Parkridge Park Playground Replacement -- Have a Say!

As part of the playground replacement process, The City of Regina is asking for feedback from the community to ensure that the best play experience possible is provided to the community. Youa re invited to complete a short survey regarding the type of play components that could be included at Parkridge Playground.

This link ( has a copy of the survey online for residents to complete by March 25, 2012.  The city will use this link throughout the upgrade process to provide up to date information like the playground's conceptual plan and construction notifications.

March Band News

Band Notes

Ø  Through band education we strive to develop responsibility and respect for self and others, commitment to others and to a goal, teamwork, and the value of effort. Our mission is to create responsible, caring citizens and a strong musical community through the development of these values. Band students demonstrate them by coming prepared, being focused and cooperative, being dependable and honest and making a sincere effort.

Ø  The Gr. 7/8 Band is performing at the Optimist Band Festival on the main stage of the Conexus Arts Centre on Thurs. Mar. 22nd at 1:12 pm. Permission slips are due March 12th. Don't forget your photo order form!

Ø  Our chocolate fundraiser continues while supplies last. Band students will earn a 50% profit towards their JAM account. If you would like to purchase a ($60 or $90) case to sell please send your cash/cheque (payable to JAM) to full band.

Ø  Upcoming Events:

*Gr. 6-8 Recruiting Concert for area Gr. 5s late April/early May. Stay tuned for details!

*Gr. 7/8 Spring Trip to the Moose Jaw Kinsmen Festival on May 15-16 (approx. $120)

*Spring Concert - Tues. May 29th *Thurs. May 31 Gr. 6 Wind Up (approx. $15-20)

Your regular attendance and consistent effort as we prepare for these events are crucial in making them a success. EVERYBODY IS IMPORTANT!

Mom's Pantry - Online Ordering Available

Online ordering is available for the Mom's Pantry Fundraiser.  Please follow the instructions below to place your order on-line.

ONLINE ORDERING: Place order online at

1. Go to the ONLINE ORDERING BOX in the top right hand corner of the website

2. If this is your first time online ordering with Mom's Pantry then you will need to click on "CREATE NEW ACCOUNT" to register yourself as an individual customer. You will be asked for your name, address, email, etc and a password you create. Click on "SIGNUP".

3. Once you have registered then go back to the ONLINE ORDERING BOX and type in your email and the password that you created and press LOGIN

4. Choose the FUNDRAISING ORDER option

5. When the pop up box appears to login in to the fundraising order, enter your GROUP ORDER NUMBER & GROUP PASSWORD. Our Group Order Number is 78616. Our Password is 27645.

6. Place your order and checkout

7. Print your receipt and wait for further communication from us regarding pickup date and time.

PLEASE NOTE - If you order online you DON'T complete an order form or send payment to the school as online orders are paid for by debit/credit cards.
